Not really a lot of knowledge to gambling outside of sports. Bearing in mind i've been doing it for years :P I personally use neopets as i can log in daily for about 2 minutes and earn 5-10 fg, at least from my viewpoint, it's a bit more complicated than that.
Keeping an eye on other games often has some possibly profitable ventures, often people willing to pay ~100-300 fg for playing a game for 4-6 hours to level up to X and that gives them in game bonuses. Bearing in mind i've been doing it for years However given another players amount of finds to his playtime, would suggest that was pretty accurate. Although this is based on my own findings and it may be that i'm lucky.
The investment in the second build would probably make 4k fg in 60-80 hours of actual play. However you'll probably find that with most games, you'll need to put investment of some form in to get anything out. I'm guessing you're slightly put off by the investment i suggested in ladder slasher to make a character who does it quickly. My personal suggestion is finding games you enjoy playing and if players make fg playing it, attempt to copy them.
Unfortunately there arn't that many "quick fg" games, otherwise everyone would be doing it. You actually need a lot of knowledge to be successful at gambling.
